A graphics card is a type of display adapter or video card installed within most computing devices to display graphical data with high clarity.
Example: Graphics cards are great for improving detail and increasing the speed of programs such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, Keynote, and others.

noun
A solid-state drive (SSD) is a new generation of storage device used in computers. SSDs use flash-based memory, which is much faster than a traditional mechanical hard disk.
Example: SD adoption began in high-performance technology areas and in enthusiasts’ PCs, where the drives’ extremely low access times and high throughput justified the higher cost.

Code tells a computer what actions to take, and writing code is like creating a set of instructions.
Example: Those with coding jobs often enjoy a high salary, work flexibility (such as the ability to find a remote coding job), and plentiful job opportunities.

Ethernet
noun
A system for connecting a number of computer systems to form a local area network, with protocols to control the passing of information and to avoid simultaneous transmission by two or more systems.
Example: Both methods get the data from A to B but ETHERNET is typically faster when network traffic is low as nodes can transmit when they like; no token is needed, but faster flavours of Token Ring are being developed.

An abbreviation for frames per second: the rate at which different frames (= single pictures that together form a film or video game) appear on a screen: The frame rate is close to 30 fps, making the game very smooth.
Example: FPS is used to measure frame rate – the number of consecutive full-screen images that are displayed each second.

Intelligence artificielle
noun
The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.
Example: To meet these requirements a high level ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE system is needed. The ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE of the system must be adept in pattern recognition.

Example: The internet term "cookie" refers to a piece of information that is sent and stored by a WEB SERVER (i.e. website) on a visitor's computer hard disk.
